Redneck Girls...

Saturday night a few of us got together, really for a boys night but they let the girls tag along:) We went to Pelehatchie for some dirt drag racing. Woo Hoo!! It was actually quite fun. I enjoyed getting to hang out with the girls and the babies for a while. Life seems to be flying by lately so I've missed some good girl time.

Nashville

We have been in Nashville all week for a work conference for Jason. Clearly you can see Jason is working hard. We stopped by Cooter's museum for the Duke's of Hazard. Whatever Jason says, He was so excited to go.

This is from a restruant called the Aquarium. It was neat. You get to watch all the fish while you eat. You can actually see the aquarium in the background. Atmosphere was fun, I however wasn't crazy for the food...if you know me not only am I picky but I don't eat seafood so I ate off the kids menu. They charged me double since I was an adult and I agreed to it but then they brought me two orders. They said since they charged me double they serve me two portions. Makes no sense to me. Basically I paid for and got two plates off the kids menu. Not smart on the restruants part, but oh well.
We spent much of the afternoon laying out by the pool. I got burned like a lobster, but it was very relaxing. Tuesday was the best. I spent the morning at the spa getting pampered. I could handle that weekly. It was awesome. This has been a great vacation for me.

Happy 60th Anniversary

Friday night we headed to Columbus to celebrate with my grandparents for their 60th Wedding Anniversary. It's amazing to see couples who still believe in marriage. We are encouraged to follow in their footsteps. Happy Anniversary!

What a weekend...

Well, I'll say my wekend really started Thursday. I spent the day with Lisa & Addison, Jennifer, and Chrissie & Elias at the Canton flea market, where unlike me I actually spent money. I found Brinkley's letters for her room and a couple of other little things.
Thursday night when I got home Jason took me to Cerami's for my Birthday (we didn't know it but I got to eat free because it was my birthday, definately a bonus).
Friday was field day at school and I helped with Cheree's class because she was out. I love being in the classroom with the kiddos.
Friday night my parents came in town and we all, including Jason's parents grandparents, aunts, & uncles went to Bonsia (sp?) for my birthday dinner. Thank you all for coming and also for all the great goodies you gave me.
We spent Saturday hanging out and runnign errands, mom helped me register at Wal-mart for baby stuff, FUN FUN!! Saturday night my parents and J's parents went to some music night/comedy night. I am so glad that they get along and like to hang out even if Jason & I aren't there. Jason & I spent that time registering at Babies R Us, forgive me if the same item is registered for multiple times, Jason got a little trigger happy:)
Sunday morning we slept in and went to the 11:00 service at church and then the whole fam (mine & Jason's - the whole gang again) met for mother's day lunch. All the mom's, even me got free desert for Mother's Day! Yum YUM!
This was a great weekend, lots of family time and celebration!

My Great Expectation...

Here I am, 25 weeks 2 days!!! I am finally getting a belly, YEAH!! Brinkley moves all the time and she likes to kick/hit her daddy. It doesn't matter whether it's his hand or cheek. I am so glad he gets to feel her moving, it is amazing!

Last night we went to a Great Expectations dinner (it is for expecting parents at our church), anyway it was so fun to see all those pregnant mommies. I didn't realize there were so many. Thank you to my mother mentor, Jennifer, for praying for Brinkley along the way. It is so special to know that she is being lifted to the Lord by others.

What a hair-do

I miss my sweet Megan so much. My mom received these pictures through kodak easy share from my brother. Sorry Chris, I couldn't resist posting them. Unfortunately, Megan has a life of this ahead of her, I lived with him for years so I am glad Tanya and Megan now get to put up with him:) For the past 6 years I only get little doses when he's in town or we are out there visiting, this will soon change but i am looking forward to having my big brother around more.

Woo Hoo!!!

Wow! It has been a crazy week. I do have wireless internet back, but I have had absolutely no time to use it at home. Jason and I made an offer on a new house (new to us...) and they accepted. We now have to sell our house. Luckily I have the most wonderful & handy Husband. HE spent all weekend putting in hardwood floors, painting, & putting in new trim into our current house. Thank You my sweet Husband. honestly the floors would have been fine but a couple of months ago, the clumbsy girl I am spilled red rasberry crystal light all over the dining room floor. IT STAINS!!! Especially light tan carpet and nothing would get it up...not even bleach, yes I tried and further messed up the floor. Anyway, Jason fixed my mess. Our house looks great and all updated, now hopefully it will sell quickly. I have a few pictures from the weekend and I'll post them when I get a chance.
