A perfect weekend

My weekend really started on Friday. Jason took the day off and kept Brinkley while I went to Mistletoe with some friends. It is so fun to get out without a baby but I miss her when she is not with me. Anyway when I got home Brinkley was getting up from her nap so she and Jason and I went shopping. She was so good and we just enjoyed our afternoon/night out and about. Pappy and Mimi called while we were out so we met them at Chick-fil-a for dinner. Brinkley loves her some ice cream and strawberry milkshake. We didn't do anything fancy but it was still a great day together. Saturday we had yummy pancakes and played around the house and then Brinkley and I went with Tanya and Megan to run a few errands and then headed back to chick-fil-a for lunch so the girls could play. (*my child doesn't even eat chick-fil-a, I still pack her lunch or dinner for the most part when we are out. she is not really a meat eater so i make sure to bring her fruits and veggies along.) Anyway after lunch the girls were tired so home for nap we went. Tanya was so sweet and offered to keep Brinkley Saturday night so Jason and I could have a date night. We went to PF Chang's (our first time there). I am not a Chinese food person but thought it would be fun b/c Jason loves Chinese & to my surprise it was really good. We had a FABULOUS time. Jason was in a crazy mood and kept me laughing through dinner. We walked around Renaissance after eating b/c it was such a pretty night. We have already planned another date next weekend. Sunday we went to church(great message as usual) and then relaxed at home and ran a few errands after Brinkley's nap and a quick spin in the jeep. After we got home and put Brinkley down Jason cooked and served me dinner and wouldn't let me do anything but sit and be waited on. For those of you who know Jason, he is a WONDERFUL cook. I keep telling him to open a restaurant because even though I am biased, his food is 99.9% of the time better than whatever I get when we eat out. We had a fun but relaxing weekend. Nothing like ending what was already a GREAT weekend than with my HUBBY making me dinner and pampering me. Thanks sweetheart, I love you. Thank you for making me smile & laugh. I can see how much you love me and Brinkley and that makes me so happy and blessed. You are awesome.
