One Year Ago...

Happy Birthday Brinkley!! So much has changed in just one year. This was taken one year ago August 1, 2007 as we were leaving to go to the hospital (my last belly shot).

Before Brinkley's arrival, just chatting and waiting.....Our life changed in a minute. Brinkley arrived sweet and healthy. 5 lbs. 14 oz. Our little peanut.
Although she is still little, she has grown and changed so much over the last year. Such a sweet blessing that I am very thankful for.
What Brinkley can do:

walk if you hold her hand, better with two hands but manages well with just one.

cruise furniture very quickly, almost runs when her daddy is trying to get her:)

pulls up on everything, walks behind push toy

attempts to climb into bath tub (if she can step on your knee, she's in)

waves bye bye, go straight to the door if you say are you ready to go?, and you better at least take her outside.

Receptively understands:

where is mama, dada, mimi, pappy, nana, poppa, Uncle chris, aunt tanya, megan

monkey, ball, milk, dog, eat, banana, go to your chair, dance, bye bye, gives kisses

loves to dance, clap your hands.

Favorite songs:

wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider (will put fingers together like spider crawling), if your happy and you know it, pat a cake
